Had a lovely girls lunch treat today. The location & setting is great, as it was sunny we sat outside. The staff were friendly and food service was quick, as we had to wait for some of our starters they gave us 2 complementary belly pork nibbles which were delishious! The mains portions were plentifull, fresh tasty & well cooked & presented. A lovely find as we were due to eat at a different pub nearby so glad we chose this one and will definately be returning & recommending to friends. Tgank you ):

Took my nanna and daughter for lunch there today. We have been a couple of times before, always been brilliant. Beers good, foods fantastic! Service was great. They kindly squeezed us in which was amazingly sweet of them. If you’re gonna go, book! I was very lucky the really kind staff saved my bacon as I had an 87 year old and a 7 year old starving for a roast! Wasn’t disappointed whatsoever. Cannot recommend this place enough. My daughter loves their chickens in the back garden. Loads of parking. Just all round great. We are going back Thursday already!

The food was excellent - the king prawn starter was absolutely amazing. The menu was big with lots of choice and I was happy with all 3 choices I went for. Special mention to the staff who were friendly and attentive too. I would definitely return.

We had lunch here today. It's the first time we've been since it reopened after it flooded. The menu was great with traditional old English plates with a modern twist. It was lovely to see that the food had been cooked from scratch by a professional chef , rather than heated up in the microwave and not an oven chip in sight, it was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend and look forward to our return.

Dined here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Today we tried the Street food Monday offering Caribbean dishes. The food served by Gerald and the team was fantastic, bursting with flavour, beautifully presented and all at a reasonable price. A must try!

Had lunch here on a sunny Tuesday. We shared all the nibbles as our meal. The sesame soy pork belly, Korean chicken wings, salt and pepper prawns and the bang bang cauliflower were all delicious. We will definitely be back.

My family and I stopped here for Sunday lunch. Kids and dogs welcome. My daughter had a burger from the kids menu and it was fat and juicy, not like the dry biscuit ones you get in other places. The Sunday roasts were all excellent, pork and beef all cooked to perfection. The pub itself is everything you’d want from a village pub.
